The design of Hale was inspired by the classic school chair. Simple, functional, no-nonsense. These principles are not only reflected in the way it looks, but also in how it’s made. The seat and the back of the chair are produced from PET Felt, recycled plastic bottles. This technology brought many traditional production steps to one smart 3D pressing technique. Hale is the outcome of De Vorm’s collaboration with Ivan Kasner. The shared values resulted in a product that is beautiful in its simplicity. Its fully customisable design allows for a wide range of applications in interior projects. The frame is made from 78.8% recycled steel content, further enhancing its sustainable profile. The chairs can be stacks up to 8 chairs high.
